About Me
My personal experience of holistic therapy
My journey into holistic wellbeing began through personal experience. Several years ago, I was struggling with chronic lower back pain that was affecting almost every part of my daily life. A friend suggested reflexology and, although sceptical at first, I decided to give it a try.
What surprised me most was not only the physical relief but also the deep sense of calm and relaxation during treatments. After living with pain for so long, I finally felt I could breathe again. That experience stayed with me and inspired me to train as a reflexologist.
A career in care taught me deep empathy
Before moving into holistic therapies, I was an NHS nurse. Caring for people during vulnerable moments in their lives taught me a great deal about compassion, empathy, listening, and the importance of feeling truly supported. Although my career path changed, those values have remained central to the way I work with people today.
As my reflexology practice grew, I began noticing how many women were arriving carrying far more than physical tension alone. Stress, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, overwhelm, poor sleep, caring responsibilities, and the hidden pressure of trying to hold everything together often sat just beneath the surface.
Many of the women I work with are used to continuing through work, family life, and daily responsibilities while quietly struggling themselves.

The decision to offer more tailored and meaningful support
Wanting to support women more deeply emotionally as well as physically led me to train in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. I was drawn to its gentle and forward-looking approach, and to the way it combines practical wellbeing tools with an understanding of how the brain responds to stress, anxiety, and change.
More recently, I completed specialist HypnoMenopause® Practitioner training to deepen my understanding of the emotional and physical impact menopause can have on women’s lives. The training combines hypnotherapy, mindfulness-informed approaches, relaxation techniques, and practical support specifically tailored to menopause and perimenopause.
I think many women reach this stage of life already carrying years of emotional stress and pressure. Menopause can then arrive quietly and have a strong effect, emotionally and physically. This realisation became a strong call for me to offer menopause support in Cornwall.
Support for mind and body
My approach today brings together reflexology, hypnotherapy, and holistic menopause support to support both mind and body. Every woman’s experience is different, and I feel it’s important that support feels personal and free from judgement.
Outside of work, I’m someone who values calm spaces, reflection, and the small things that help us feel grounded again. I know how important it can be to feel listened to and understood, and to have space to exhale. And that is the space I offer to you.
I really look forward to meeting and helping you discover the amazing benefits of the work I do.
